Montreal Event: Crawl Dishes Paired with Wine from Languedoc-Roussillon

As you are no doubt painfully aware, summer is almost over. But there’s a bright side, because guess what Fall means for Montreal wine lovers? The busiest season for wine events in the city!

One of the first wine events on my agenda this fall is a Dishcrawl with Les Vins du Languedoc-Roussillon.

Ever been to a dishcrawl? It’s actually not far off from what people have done at tapas bars in Spain for ages: you try one small dish and drink at each of a series of restaurants. But during a dishcrawl, the lineup of restaurants is kept secret until the last minute. That’s all part of the fun.

So while I can tell you that the dishcrawl will be held on September 19th and that each dish will be paired with a wine from Languedoc-Roussillon, I can’t yet tell you which restaurants will be on the route. (Pssst… the route will pass through Old Montreal and the Main.)

The meeting point for the apéro will be announced 24 hours in advance. Tickets are $75 and can be purchased here.
